Environment Protection Authority Governing Board appointments for 2018

Expressions of interest for appointments to the Governing Board of Victoria's Environment Protection Authority (EPA Victoria) open on 28 October 2017
EPA Victoria is a statutory authority responsible for protecting Victoria's human health and the environment by reducing the harmful effects of pollution and waste. 
The EPA Governing Board reports to the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change and oversees the Environment Protection Act 2017 and Environment Protection Act 1970. The EPA Governing Board will lead EPA Victoria at a time of organisational change, with the transition to new governance arrangements and a reform agenda to implement the Government's Response to the Independent Inquiry into the EPA. 
Expressions of interest are encouraged from candidates with skills, knowledge, or experience in one or more of the following:
• science or engineering 
• health 
• environment protection or regulation
• regulation of industry
• local government
• public administration or governance
• finance or accounting
• legal practice.
