The Minister for Planning is seeking nominations from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill a position on the Plumbing Advisory Council.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge in representing the interests of consumers and how these skills, experience and knowledge can be applied to improve plumbing outcomes for consumers.

SELECTION PROCESS AND CHECKS

All applications will be assessed against the above area. A selection panel will shortlist applicants and conduct interviews.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo probity checks, including a national police check. They will also be required to declare any private interests and awareness of any potential conflicts of interest. Recommendations of suitable candidates will be provided to the Minister for Planning for consideration.
