The Minister for Health, the Hon Jenny Mikakos MP, is pleased to invite applications for part time board positions on the Board of Directors of East Grampians Health Service with terms of office commencing from 1 July 2020.  

Safe and high-quality healthcare for all Victorians is a priority of the Victorian Government. Applicants for board directorships must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence in support of the skills they identify in their applications.

East Grampians Health Service is a local healthcare provider in the Grampians region of Victoria. The Health Service provides an extensive range of acute, residential aged care and community-based services along with provision of day surgery, dialysis and chemotherapy services.  East Grampians Health Service is located in Ararat and Willaura and operates throughout Ararat Rural City. The East Grampians Health Service Board of Directors would particularly welcome applicants with expertise in ‘Financial Management and Accounting'; ‘Clinical Governance' and/or are a ‘Registered Clinician', to fill identified gaps in their current board skills profile. These positions provide an exciting opportunity for members of the Victorian public with relevant experience and qualifications to contribute to the strategic leadership of public health care delivery to the community.

West Wimmera Health Service is a small regional health service which provides health and community care services within the Hindmarsh, West Wimmera, Yarriambiack and Horsham Rural City local government areas with campuses in Nhill, Goroke, Jeparit, Kaniva, Minyip, Murtoa, Natimuk, Rainbow and Rupanyup.


West Wimmera Health Service provides a broad range of health services including acute care, urgent care, aged care, primary and preventative health, dental, disability services and community programs.
