Forthcoming Vacancies on Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health (Forensicare)

The Minister for Mental Health, the Hon James Merlino MP, is pleased to invite applications for part time board positions on the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health (Forensicare) with terms of office commencing on 1 July 2021.

The Victorian Government is committed to ensuring every Victorian receives safe and high quality healthcare. Applicants must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence in support of the skills they identify in their applications.

These positions provide an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified and experienced persons to contribute and provide high level advice on the delivery of public health care to the Victorian community.

All applications will be considered however the board would particularly welcome applicants with expertise in the competency areas of audit and risk management, corporate governance and financial management and accounting. Please refer to the Position Description for more details about the competencies needed.

Board directors of Forensicare may be eligible to receive remuneration under Department of Premier and Cabinet's Appointment and Remuneration Guidelines (the Guidelines). Forensicare is classified as a Group A4 organisation pursuant to the Guidelines and directors are remunerated on a per annum basis. For further information, please view visit
