The Victorian Government is aiming for gender equity in all government bodies. Medical Panels is aligned with this government directive and to this end special measures are being taken in an interim recruitment process for appointment to the List for a period of up to 18 months from 1 July 2021.

We strongly encourage women to apply. Currently only 31.5% of Medical Panellists are female. The current round seeks female medical practitioners across all areas of medicine.

What is Medical Panels?

Medical Panels offers medico-legal work with a difference. You'll work on cases in a team to provide legally binding answers to medical questions to help resolve disputes.

Medical Panels provides an induction program, ongoing mentoring and professional networking opportunities with practitioners across a wide range of specialties.

The term

We're currently looking for medical practitioners for a statutory appointment term of 18 months from 1 July 2021.
